Lacoste…New Season Stock

 

In 1933, Rene Lacoste and Andre Gillier the owner and the chairman of Frances largest knitwear manufacturing firm at the time, set up a company to make the logo-embroided shirt designd by the champion for his use on the tennis court. Also marketed were a number of the tennis, golf and sailing shirts, as can be seen in the first catalogue from 1933. To the best of our knowledge, this was the first time that a brand name appeared on the outside of an article of clothing – an idea which has since become extremely successful.

The Spring/Summer 2009 season is no different to this, the colours that are present within the collection really do catch the eye!

 As a follow on to the previous blog, i found it only right that the men should look just as good as the women… mens fashion is always changing, people apsire to be like celebrities, as mentioned in some of the previous blogs i have done…Luke and Lyle & Scott

The Picture below is an example of where men are following trend…even if it is just underwear……!

 

 

The Armani underwear is an integral part of the brand, they do all styles of underwear from a brief to a boxer short. Now we have this part of the blog out the way and sorted, i can now show some of the best bits which are perfect for going out…

 

 

 

                                                                            

Breakdown Of Outfit…. 

 

Within this outfit there is a very casual look, the shirt/cardigan combination is very popular both for smart and casual occasions. Brands such as Lyle & Scott, Diesel and J.Lindeberg are perfect for the cardigan image.  

 

The Lyle & Scott casual jacket is a nice pale colour, which brings out the navy within the cardigan. However, there are the more traditional darker navy colours and black within the Lyle & Scott jacket range.

 

 

 

 

 Following on from the top half of the outfit, the jeans that we have chosen to along side the rest of the outfit are bought to us by Diesel. The Diesel heritage of denim has an amazing reputation for being long lasting and smart enough to wear out. Alot of the modern jeans are very casual, but a darker denim really does work. Larkee is a jean that Diesel repeat on most seasons, just offering that slight difference which changes it from the season before. New washes, but a perfect straight jean.

I have been really busy this morning trying to get some more clothing for the fantastic summer we are going to have?! As promised roughly a month ago, we would publish a going out section for women and the men….well this is Aprils 1st publish. So here goes…….
